Description: The Institute of Political Studies (IPS) in the framework of its professional activity about issues relating to the public and institutional interest organized the first workshop of consultation about the events in Macedonia and the role of the Albanian factor. Among the well-known persons that were part of the discussion was A.Moisiu President (2002-2007), former ministers Bajrami and Malaj, the Ambassador Cejku, the diplomat Collaku and experts from Macedonia, including the leader of OVL of KLA Hoda and the journalist Neziri. As well as other well-known persons and students of political science and regional studies.
Impact: The debate was focused on the latest developments in Macedonia, it expressed the concern which was caused by the repressive conduct of the Macedonian authorities in Kumanovo’s case, their statements, the authoritarian conduct as well as the slight for the standards of democracy, discussions about the state crisis were held too, the crisis of the inter-Albanian representation and possible solutions.
