Description: The SOCIAL EXPERIMENT is based on this method, young people are invited to answer by writing (anonymously) a questionnaire that summarizes the data of the characteristics of life in communist Albania. Questions associated with the system itself, restrictions of civil liberties, its leaders and citizen relationships within the system and the system itself. Afterwards the young people are invited to visit the Museum of Memories exhibition which has photos and other illustrative data on the communist period. Once they visit the museum and acquire additional information are invited back to complete a second form with 80% similar questions.
Impact: From the students that were involved in the questionnaire more than twothirds of them had the same distribution of parents which were employed by the state or in private companies. Over 80% of them did not any family connection with communist persecution, the AWP (PPSH) or the nomenclature. Only 11% of them were children of layers and the politically persecuted during the dictatorship, and only about 2% were children of the former leaders of the dictatorship.
